Airport Lahr
Since 2001 the Lahr airport has being managed by a private investor. During this period applications were made to extend the licence public airfield (permission to handle aircraft up to 20 tons maximum take off mass / 20 to. MTOM) into a cargo airport.
In 2002 the investor PlaneStation PTG, England, got the permit to handle cargo aircraft of all sizes at the Black Forest Airport Lahr, it had been licensed as Special Cargo Airport.
Now the Black Forest Airport is in the position to handle cargo aircraft of all sizes, but prior permission is required (PPR), as there is no customs office at the airport yet.
